I’m writing to update you on the embryo donation you helped facilitate last year. Everything went perfectly, and my wife and I have a healthy, happy, beautiful baby girl who’ll be six weeks old tomorrow. She’s been an absolute ray of sunshine for everyone involved. She’s received so many gifts from across the continent that we barely have room for everything–we’ve already had to donate some of it. Our family and friends ask for pics of her every day, our neighbors come out to see her (from a safe distance) when we go for walks, and our friends drive by the house so they can see her from their cars when we’re outside. She’s perfect! Her genetic family is also delighted, and we’re in regular contact with them. I can’t imagine there’s a kid anywhere in the world that’s getting more love and support than this little girl.

My husband and I created an NRFA profile after deciding to pursue embryo adoption. Within 4 weeks, we were matched! Bridget was very helpful in assisting us with writing up an embryo adoption contract. Things did slow down due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but at the same time we feel like everything happened so quickly! We felt confident through the whole process thanks to our wonderful donor and the assistance from NRFA. It has been 9 month since we created that profile. All 3 of our “embabies” have been transfered to our clinic in San Francisco and we are 6 days post transfer with our first.
